The story is simple, when put together. A terribe tragedy happens and there are miscommunications and misunderstandings along the way. Their connection was strong and partly, I think it was because neither man rushed into anything.

By the time he was freed from his prisoners, only his battered shadow remained. I loved the role the horses had in the story as well as the secondary characters.
The epilogue was all about Josh’s uncle, not the MCs. His uncle, Tucker, was such a good person for Josh to be staying with. But his love life has reached a new level of pitiful. But I have since listened to other works he has done and loved him.
